feel, and do. This can help empower them on their journey. Truth be told, our children are born aligned with their inner self. It is growing up in society that makes it so we have to reconnect with ourselves later in life.
A Child's Place
Do you know what's inside your child's head? There's a wealth of knowledge there that many never access because it is often suppressed in disguise of people saying they need to "be put in a child's place". Okay. Well, around here, we flip it up a bit. Instead of being a quiet place of restriction, a child's place is as the leader. They ARE the future leaders and in order to learn to do it, they need to just be one. The best place to "train" for that is in the arms of ones who love them - their parents - you.
Let Them Lead
Again, let them be your leader. They have a lot to teach you that you may not be listening to. If you already are, that's great. If this hit a nerve, it's never too late to get started. When we put too much authority over children, we can unintentionally stifle their natural curiosity, excitement, and gifts. It's OK to redirect when they might harm themselves or others - or in other critical instances, but the key is to let them be who they are. This is, in my opinion one of the best ways to help them keep that natural Chi. Be mindful of when and how you redirect. They must absolutely be themselves, so any forms of guidance should be geared toward not taking away from that.

Emotion control, self-awareness, self-control, personal behavior, and having a successful mind are essential for kids to succeed. But many don't get the essential tools to balance these and other life aspects. Kids need balance in order to know what they need and then succeed at it. Showing kids how to increase Chi (Qi/Life Force) through activating the Chakras can help with all of this and much more. In my experience, it is a vital part of life that not enough people access themselves or teach their kids.
What is Chi (Qi)?
Chi (also called Qi) is the life force that flows through you. It is the energy that is felt and used for all body functions and movements. This is needed in order to thrive properly and access the levels of understanding needed to perform to your greatest potential. This life force is recognized in China (Qi or Chi), Japan (Ki), India (Prana), and more. It's starting to become more accepted in many cultures. It is most often used in martial arts, yoga, meditation, healing, and also as a way of life. It is important for each person to learn how to control their own Chi. The sooner it is learned, the better.
Is Chi The Same As Chakra?
No, but it is used in conjunction with Chakra. Where Chi is the energy itself, the Chakra points are the areas where the Chi is held for specific purposes to activate alignment. There are 7 main Chakra points within the body. They must all be aligned in order to achieve the more advanced Chakra points. We'll save info on those for a future post and stick with the basics here. The 7 main Chakras are the root chakra (red), sacral chakra (orange), solar plexus (yellow), heart chakra (green), throat chakra (blue), third eye chakra (indigo), and the crown chakra (purple).
How Can Chi Help My Kids?
Good question. It's both about what happens when you're not aligned, as well as what can happen when you are. If your kids are displaying undesirable behaviors, not communicating properly, are sick, not succeeding in learning and growing, or having any other issues, there's a very good chance that they're not aligned.
Being able to harness their Chi properly can help kids learn how, where, and when to focus on every aspect of their lives. Many times, the issues kids have are related to not fully understanding themselves and not being able to effectively get across what is needed. Being aligned can help bring the balance necessary to get over this blockage.
A child is who is out of alignment may have nightmares, temper tantrums, lack of focus, low respect for themselves or others, and just seem "off" or sometimes even be ill. A properly aligned child will usually be calm, confident, and seem to be successful at everything they do.
